DeClaire Knee

Shaunnah E. Yeihey, PA-C  joined The DeClaire Knee & Orthopaedic Institute in early 2009. Shaunnah  has been involved in the orthopaedic community for over 10 years. She  specializes in clinical management of disorders related to the knee and has  extensive experience as surgical first assistant in orthopaedic surgery.

Shaunnah received her  undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science  Biology. While at the University of Michigan, she was on the Dean’s Honor List.  After her undergraduate program she earned a Master’s of Science Physician  Assistant at the University of Detroit Mercy, where she received a Dean’s Scholar  Award.

Shaunnah is Board Certified  by the National Commission Certification of Physician Assistants She is also a  member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Shaunnah’s research  experience is currently being reviewed for publication in a well known medical  journal. “Significance of Bedside Manner in the Selection of a Surgeons”  represents the key values Shaunnah provides throughout her professional career.
